There will be a joint meeting for the Town of Stamford, Town of Harpersfield, Town of Jefferson, Town of Gilboa, Town of Kortright, Village of Stamford and the Stamford Rural Fire District on June 16th, 2016 held at the Stamford Village Hall at 7PM to discuss the joint merger of the 5 towns and the village into the Rural Fire District.
